Actually, "catching up" means exactly that. What you describe is 'surpassing'.
And Sony has a long way to go to do to that.
I'm gonna preorder this and call the store about it EVERY DAY.
A crap trend it is.
I bought Fallout 3 for PC so I get the DLC. Cheers and all that. But I'm generally not in favour of seeing my fellow gamers shafted; it could just as easily be me next.
Good list.
I only disagree with Resident Evil 4.
Wasn't the kick-ass Ada Wong in the very same game as the helpless heroine?
"Don't let the game end, and don't have a level cap"
I don't see how they just now learned this. I enjoyed F3. Even the bugs were forgivable since it's an open world game. But this is what you learn? Bit of a waste, imo.
Disappointing but not surprising.
Fallout 1 and 2 are great games regardless.
Beth did a good job of bringing the series back into the spotlight across consoles for (I assume) newer or non-PC gamers like yourself to enjoy.
I do resent some changes made between F2 and F3, but I think we still got a great game in the end.
I'm really only looking forward to another TES game. That's about the only title I ever liked by Beth among the odd racing/bowling/sim titles. But since their using another's IP, I suppose it could be anything. I personally wasn't disappointed with Fallout 3 so I remain optimistic.
It's a poor score and sounds like Beth took out my favourite part of the game (the part where you can call it an RPG). If that's the case then I'll probably skip it.
BUT...
I want to hear from someone who isn't in media. And it looks like everyone here is just riding the negative waves of the review without actually having played first. That's ok I guess; reviews exist for that reason. But I need to be convinced a bit more.
Not holding out a lot of hop...
Yeah, I figured I could be wrong. I don't like being wrong, but thems the breaks. Thanks for the info
face like a dropped Pie... ..like a smashed crab... Mad as a cut snake...ankle...lower than a c**t.
This is a gold mine. *fiendish grin*
That sounds disgustingly overpriced. Even if he's right about the exchange rates and all, it's hard to stomach from my POV overseas.
Also, this Ephraim guy does not sound like a someone who needs to be talking to the press about anything. Terrible way to represent any company, losing your cool like that.
Lastly, "spit the dummy". Looks like I learned a new idiom :D
Yeah, Butcher Bay was surprisingly awesome. Made me stand and take notice of Starbreeze. The new gameplay sounds cool and everything looks better (even though Butcher Bay looked spectacular in its own rights) so this definitely looks worth keeping an eye on.
The "tension" thing sounds like a nitpick..
It's not like I think the game's perfect, but every RPG does this because the player needs some measure of time to prepare for the coming battles. Surely, the diverse activities you may engage in can starkly contrast with the urgency of the mission, but so does gaining a bunch of levels/finishing a bunch of sidequests right before the meteor hits earth dispel the same tension.
If anything, having any sense of tim...
Let's not jump all over Cajun. MS has stated explicitly that the BC updates were "winding down" and that MS had already added the games "people want to play" which doesn't include games like Otogi or DOAX (which I want to play). *shrug*

I didn't really buy the "Sony is doomed" talk and I can't say the "MS is doomed" speak rings of truth either.
This is kinda dumb to me, but then again so is most of the world. This is like having to offer Whoppers at McDonald's. If the competitor is doing its job in advertising blah blah blah... then the consumer should know her options already.
What astounds me is how many people are willing to take the title of an article as solid fact.
There will always be sheep, I guess.
I doubt he'd want to do another XBL only game since suggests he wants to get his games to as many people as possible. The guy has apparent conviction about spreading his contributions around.
Of course intention and circumstances may differ... *shrug*
